How To Find The Clothes For Man:怎么找适合的男士衣服

Don’t let algorithms define you! Use subtractive dressing to find the lost identity

(Fueled by the internet, the influence of online personalities, and brand marketing, people today are gradually losing their sense of self-identity. To make matters worse, an overabundance of market choices leaves us lost amidst a dazzling array of clothing, ultimately unable to select a style that is truly our own.)

(To break out of this dilemma, I devised my own "subtractive approach" to dressing)

(Make a list based on your needs and focus on one item at a time)
(Before the start of each season, I clearly outline my core needs—deciding, for instance, to buy only short-sleeved tops, outerwear, or trousers, depending entirely on what is most urgently required at the time. This approach buys me the time and mental space to truly consider how I will style and utilize a garment. You must realize that e-commerce sites constantly use sales tactics to manufacture anxiety—suggesting you’ll miss out on a huge deal if you don’t buy right now—which is precisely why your wardrobe ends up stuffed with "high-quality" items that sit idle, never actually getting worn.)

(Size Management: Better to buy too big than too small)
(Given the option for hassle-free returns and exchanges, I sometimes order two sizes of the same garment. However, most of the time, I simply choose a size larger than usual. On one hand, this allows for potential shrinkage after machine drying; on the other, a larger size tends to be more forgiving in terms of fit. Ultimately, a garment that is too big can be adjusted through tailoring or styling, whereas one that is too small effectively represents a wasted personal investment.)

(Try-at-Home: An Immersive Styling Test)
(When your new clothes arrive, don't rush to cut off the tags. Instead, try pairing the item with the trousers and jackets already in your wardrobe, and put on your favorite pair of shoes. Stand in front of the mirror and walk back and forth like a model to get a feel for the piece: Is it comfortable? Does the overall vibe match what you envisioned? If it doesn't feel quite right, simply try it on with a different pair of trousers.)

(The Golden Rule: The "1-to-3" Principle)
(If a new piece of clothing pairs perfectly with three existing items in your wardrobe—whether in terms of color, pattern, or brand—then congratulations: you have found a style that truly suits you.)

Fashion isn't about buying more; it's about buying right. When you learn to limit your choices, leverage a margin for error, and strike a balance with your existing wardrobe, you successfully turn the tables on the algorithms.
